Snowdale State Park is located on the shore of Lake Hudson and is popular for its bass, catfish, perch and crappie fishing. All water sports are allowed on the lake, and other recreational activities include camping, picnics, swimming, volleyball and hiking. Visitors to the park will find a lighted boat ramp, swimming beach, playground, volleyball court, comfort station with showers, RV sites, tent campsites, picnic tables and a group picnic shelter.
Friendly people, nice playground, beach area. Easy to keep on eye on your kids. Close to Salina, resturants. BBQ at corner station good!

it was busy with fisherman, as we are so it was pleasent, small night walks was peaceful and friendly. we also drive thru for the christmas lights, will go again

I have been camping there for 25+ years. It is a quiet park with the exception of the holidays, gets alittle crowded. This is a great park if you like to fish a be lazy, but not for someone wanting to do the hiking and biking outdoors kinda thing. Not any other activities like that. But great just to get out and enjoy hitting the lake or play games. Great playground and fair swimming area.

This is a tiny state park right next to highway 20. There is not much to do other than lanch your boat on their ramp. There was alot of traffic just driving through the park and in the eary morning around 5 am bass fishermen using the ramp woke everyone in the park.
We stayed on the weekend so it may not be this way all the time, but i would not stay here again.
