The park is close to major roads, but tucked away in the trees so you can forget city life and enjoy Lake Michigan. There is a creek that is shallow and warmer than the lake so little ones can enjoy the water in most any weather. Climbing dunes and long beach walks are wonderful. A trip to the Visitor Center is a must.
