We have been coming to Fort Pickens since 1993 and my husband came as a small child.This is the place that my family always wants to go. We came Memorial day weekend of this year and camped and we had a great time. We look forward the campground being fully opened.

Went to visit Ft Pickens as it is only an hour away.I am getting a yearly pass as it was beautiful,clean,quiet and peaceful...even the beach..an amazing day trip!

I have many happy memories camping at Fort Pikens State park growing up,, and moving back to alabama glad to hear it is opening again to be able take my family there on vacations.
