I recently came to Crows Butte for a church camp and had a fantastic experience!! The weather was slightly windy but the grounds were breathtaking. I suggest everyone should come to this park.

Crow Butte has the space and need for an airstrip, and makes a great Columbia River harbor for seaplane.

Just to let everyone know, Crow Butte is NOT a State Park. It is run by The Port of Benton. We love the large sites and amenities. Hot showers are great, picnic area and boat launch are included in our stay. The hiking is one of the reasons we enjoy this park. Lots of Deer too!

What a great find! Very well done park with 50 well placed RV sites and great day use swimming, boating, etc. Just a gem of a park in a beautiful out of the way area of the Columbia River.
August 25A great place for a learning kayaker by Kayaker 2
After 49 years of marrage my wife decided that she wanted to start kayaking with me. We live on the Columbia river but I could not see teaching a 70 year old lady how to kayak in the middle of the Columbia. So we went and spent 3 days at crow butte camping and kayaking. It was beautiful for a beginner and I even enjoyed myself. And we are headed there again in a few hours.
